Abstract Menstrual disorders frequently affect the quality of life of women, especially those who suffer diabetes mellitus. Menstrual disorders include menstrual cycle irregularities (of duration or length), hyper- or hypomenorrhoea, poly- or oligomenorrhoea, dysmenorrhoea, amenorrhea, menorrhagia and premenstrual syndrome (Paschou et al., 2020). Diabetes mellitus is associated with reproductive dysfunction, particularly in the setting of poor metabolic control. Menstrual cycle effect on ability to control diabetes, females having diabetes can effect on menstrual cycle, period start about year later than females who don’t have disease. Improvements in contemporary management ameliorate these problems (Thong et al., 2020). The aim of this study is to assess diabetes mellitus among females with menstrual disorders. Tools for data collection was three tools, Tool 1:- self administrated questionnaire included two parts were socio-demographic data, menstrual history assessment sheet and Menstrual irregularities, Tool two Diabetic sheet and Tool three was Psychological sheet. The main results of study reveals that three quarters of females aged between more than or equal to 20 years. Regarding level of education, all of them were at University education. the age of menarche among studied females, Approximately half of them begin their. |
