Abstract
Spray cryotherapy (SCT) uses a noncontact system to deliver liquid nitrogen through an endoscopic catheter which was determined in a simple technique with a diameter of 2.4 mm. these catheters can be connected to Hand-held devices used in dermatology which are small containers with storage capacity of 250 – 500 ml. Most have lock fittings in the nozzle so that a variety of spray apertures can be attached.The present work was done to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the CryoSpray Ablation System in treatment of central airway lesions using liquid nitrogen sprayed through a catheter via flexible fiber optic bronchoscopy (FFB) also to evaluate the effect of such modality on patient’s clinical manifestations, imaging and other investigations.
