Chapter Three: The Applied Study It consists of two chapters:
Chapter one: a design strategy to landscape in shopping centers to
achieve sustainability
This chapter deals with the study of how to design the landscape for the
shopping center starting from analyzing the site and determining the
user’s needs and then clarifying the design idea and then reaching the final
form of design with a study of engineering shapes in design and natural
forms then colors were studied in landscape then studying the texture and
design with the texture, then took up Sustainable materials to landscape
for shopping centers and their most important types, then study how to
achieve sustainability for shopping centers.
Chapter Two: The Applied Project and Design Analysis through
Sustainability Principles.
The applied study depends on the application of the principles and design
criteria used in designing the landscape for shopping centers. The applied
study is carried out through the application of what has been reached from
the theoretical and field study of the proposed shopping center for study,
which is the Avenus Center in Kuwait City, and the study is carried out
on an internal courtyard covered in the Gardens area It is an internal patio
located between a group of restaurants, and it was suggested that this
place be used to set booths for temporary display Booths to use the
internal courtyard to promote and display some different products. Also, a
proposal was designed to design some Seating for the convenience of
shoppers and plants.
