Abstract
Current study compared the efficiency of submucosal injection of dexamethasone sodium phosphate versus diclofenac sodium on complication associated with surgical removal of impacted lower third molars such as facial edema, pain and trismus.
The selected sixty patients were ASA class I who were healthy patients, free from any systemic diseases, not pregnant and hadn’t any local pathosis associated with impacted molars. Patients didn’t have any medical contraindication for using NSAIDs or CS,with winter class II &III and position B & C according to Pell&Gregory classification
