Abstract
Sirolimus is an immunosuppressive drug that inhibit the immune system
via action on mTOR and thereby block activation of T and B cells .Sirolimus is
widly used for prevention of graft rejection in organ and tissue transplantation . To
investigate the effect of sirolimus on submandibular salivary gland of albino
rats,fourty adult male albino rats with body weight ranging from 150-180 gram
were used.
The animals were divided into two equal groups 20 animals each . as
