Abstract This study evaluated the effectiveness of XP-endo Finisher file in cleaning the canal after biomechanical preparation and compared it with Passive Ultrasonic irrigation. It also compared multiple activation techniques with a single form of activation. Furthermore, it analyzed the sequences of using them in regarding to cleaning. Methods: A total of sixty freshly extracted human mandibular premolars were used in this study. All the teeth were prepared using I-race rotary system and then were randomly divided into five groups (n=12) according to the final activation of irrigation technique as follow: group 1 :( n=12) (negative control) conventional irrigation by irrigating syringe. group 2 :(n=12) Activation by passive ultrasonic irrigation. group 3 :(n=12)Activation by XP-endo Finisher. group 4 : (n=12) Activation by XP-endo Finisher then passive ultrasonic irrigation. group 5:(n=12)Activation by passive ultrasonic irrigation then XP-endo Finisher. |
