Abstract
The goal of the present research to conclude the effective factors for success of the dual fracturing technique to prevent hydraulic fracture propagation toward the water aquifer zones near oil and gas zones. This research provide a complete workflow to select the proper candidate for this technique. It also explains with practical cases from western desert Egypt how to conduct this technique successfully from design to execution and evaluation.
