The study aimed to monitor and interpret the trends of Jordanian universities’ request towards internal and external issues as reflected in the electronic news sites, and the relevant variables that are on these trends, and to identify the views of Jordanian universities students on internal and external issues on electronic news sites, and to know the extent of its benefit from the news article provided by those Electronic news websites and the extent of its adoption as a basic source of information on current events in light of the multiple sources and various means that can be consulted to obtain information and news. Theoretical framework used in the study: The theory of dependence on the media helps to test the attitudes of Jordanian university students toward internal and external issues as reflected in electronic news sites, and to monitor the differences and differences about this dependence with different traditional and modern methods and to know the effects that determine the attitudes of Jordanian university students towards internal and external issues as reflected in electronic news sites, Does it differ according to the different demographic variables of the respondents and according to the different traditional and modern means? Study variables: Independent variable: exposure and use of university youth to news websites. A dependent variable: the attitudes of Jordanian university students towards addressing electronic newspapers towards internal and external issues. • Intermediate variables: demographic data for the respondents from the Jordanian university youth, including (gender, college, residency, marital status, religion, income level). Type of study and its method: This study is one of descriptive studies that aims to describe events, people, beliefs, trends, values, goals, as well as different patterns of behavior. This study relied on the media survey approach with descriptive and analytical aspects. Study population and sample: Representing Jordanian university students is the study community, and the study was conducted on an intentional sample of (400) individuals from government and private university students browsing the electronic news sites, by relying on the questionnaire tool to collect data in each of (the University of Jordan - Yarmouk University - University of Jordan’s Wall of Excellence - Middle East University) is distributed equally to each of them separately, where it will be applied to a sample of (100) individuals for each city, for a total of (400) samples. The most prominent results of the study: 1. The results showed that the university youth relies heavily on the mobile phone due to the ease of using it in any place, and that it uses the Internet on a daily basis, and that the average number of hours of using the Internet on a daily basis from one to 3 hours, followed by more than 6 hours, and follow the pattern of individual use of it due to For the privacy of its use, and the diversity of places for using the Internet, whether at home, university or Internet cafe. 2. The electronic news websites came as the first source on which the researchers relied to obtain news information about the internal and external issues, the strength of the motives related to the university students using electronic news sites and their diversity, the strength of the effects achieved as a result of students using electronic news sites, and the effectiveness of the role played by the websites Newslette. 3. The results indicated the importance of news websites in conveying the news reliably and transparently, and the importance of the role of news websites in polarizing students. 4. The results confirmed the impact of Jordanian news websites on students ’attitudes towards foreign countries, which are linked by economic and political interests to Jordan. 5.The high level of influence of Jordanian news websites on students ’attitudes towards foreign countries that are linked by Jordan to economic and political interests. 6.The results indicated the interest of news websites in Jordan’s internal affairs. 7. The power of media treatment of websites for internal economic affairs, which has increased their impact on university youth attitudes towards them. .8. The results indicated that there is a correlation between the extent to which the news websites carry the news reliably and transparently, and the effects achieved as a result of students using the electronic news sites. 9.The results showed that there is a statistically significant correlation between the reasons and motives related to the use of university students electronic news websites and the effects achieved as a result of students using electronic news sites. 10. The results demonstrated that there was no statistically significant correlation between the average number of hours per day browsing electronic news websites and the awareness of the pros and cons resulting from exposure.
