This study aimed to examine the factors affecting the design of citizen journalism pages in Arab press websites and their relationship to the attitudes of journalists and readers towards them. This study was divided into several chapters that dealt with: • Chapter One: This chapter includes what is related to the general framework of the study, starting with the introduction, then the problem of the study, the importance of the study, the objectives, then the previous studies, and a section on the methodological procedures of the study, which included the study boundaries and its variables, assumptions, type and approach of the study, and the methodological procedures for the analytical study and Field. Chapter Two: The second chapter included the theoretical framework of the study in which the researcher reviewed the theoretical framework of the new media and the theory of democratic participation, Chapter Three: This chapter reviews the cognitive framework of the study, which dealt with citizen journalism, what it is, the reasons for its emergence, its characteristics, the nature and characteristics of citizen journalism, the forms of citizen journalism, citizen and professional journalism, and citizen journalism in the Arab world and its future., Chapter Four: It includes electronic journalistic design, what it is, its principle, tasks and functions, modern technological techniques and their impact on the electronic journalistic design process, elements, and methods of designing electronic newspapers. Chapter Five: Review the results of the analytical study of a sample of citizen journalism pages in the press sites through tables displaying the percentages and their frequencies, and the interpretation of those results in the framework of previous studies and agreement and disagreement with them. Chapter Six: The results of the field study and deals with the results of the field study of the users of citizen journalism pages in the press websites, the results of the field study of a sample of contact persons from among journalists, in addition to the results of hypothesis testing and conclusion. Appendices and references: This section included references and appendices of the study, then a summary in English and a summary in Arabic.
