Summary of the study
First: introduction
The complexity of society and industrial transformation, which has had an impact on the emergence of the problem of older persons in the current era, the transition of societies from simplicity to complexity and increased attention to industrialization as the industrial society is a strong society, has been accompanied by various changes in the lives of these communities, in agricultural and traditional societies The predominance of extended families or composite was the elderly represents a high social status and is honored and respected to benefit from his experience and skills in the economic and social activity of the family.
The transformation of societies from rural to urban societies has resulted in a change in the way of life of individuals and a change in concepts, social values, customs and traditions that are considered as the main determinants that affect negatively or positively in the provision of services to the elderly.
With the development of the social welfare system and the expansion of its official and voluntary services, and perhaps as a result of achieving the objectives of social policy adopted by the community as it works to study social problems and face by contributing to the provision of official and voluntary services and attention to alternative care systems and the provision of services to community members.
Social welfare in Egypt includes governmental and non-governmental activities and programs that seek to prevent and rehabilitate as well as alleviate social problems and issues. It provides services and programs from professionals such as social workers, doctors, lawyers, engineers, clergy and these human elements are determinants that either negatively or positively affect their efforts Although, of course, it is according to their qualification and training in order to provide services with quality and efficiency.
Therefore, caring for the elderly, taking care of their problems and identifying their needs has become one of the most important responsibilities of any society in all institutions and organizations.
Based on the foregoing, the current study stated that social determinants are social factors which, if available in a positive way, provide better service to the elderly in a high quality. These factors may lie in the social institutions that provide services to the elderly. Also lies in the specialists in the light of the level of skills and competence that qualify them to deal with the elderly and meet their needs and face their problems. These limitations may also lie in the customs and traditions that have become governed by matters purely material, which may hinder the provision of services including The elderly will deserve.
This is a question and a key issue. The present study seeks to organize society as a way to bring about changes in people and their environment through changes in care programs and services for the elderly implemented by social institutions.
Second: The importance of the study
The study has scientific and practical importance as well as its importance to society, social institutions, profession, community organization, social workers, especially those working in the field of the elderly and welfare services
Community importance
1- Preservation of society and individuality so that lack of services or mis-distribution does not lead to revolutions and social movements that threaten the security of society and stability.
2- The final estimates for 2018 indicate that the number of elderly persons reaches 1273400, and this is clear in Assiut Support and Decision Center.
3- The results of the study may help to help social institutions make appropriate decisions to help social workers improve services for the elderly.
4- The results of the study revealed the detection of errors in the provision of social welfare services provided by social institutions, which helps in the amendment of some laws and legislation governing the work of social institutions.
Professional and specialized importance:
1- The social service profession seeks mainly to satisfy the needs of the vulnerable and marginalized groups. It is therefore important to understand the social determinants of the care of the elderly in the framework of the values and ethics of the profession to achieve the security of the society and raise the status of the profession.
2- The social institutions that provide social welfare services are large numbers of social workers and practitioners in all areas of social welfare, especially the elderly. This requires identifying the institutional factors and social determinants that stand in the provision of social services for the elderly.
3- The study may be a practical addition to the theoretical, field and research heritage of the social service in general and the way of organizing the society in particular.
4- The results of this study may be useful in directing the attention of social service education institutions to how to raise the efficiency of students and social workers in the fields of social service and how to deal with marginalized groups and how to rely on modern developments of modern methods and techniques instead of traditional tools and tools.
5- The scarcity of research and studies on the social determinants of social institutions that provide social welfare services to marginalized groups.
Third: Study Objectives:
This study seeks to achieve The main objective is identification of social determinants of care services for the elderly in social institutions
Sub-objectives:
1- Identify the determinants associated with social workers.
2- Identify the determinants associated with nursing institutions.
3- identify the determinants associated with community norms and traditions.
4- Proposals to activate the social determinants of care services for the elderly in social institutions.
5- reaching a vision for the future of the social determinants of the provision of care services for the elderly in social institutions
Fourth: Study Questions
This study seeks to answer the main question what are the social determinants of care services for the elderly in social institutions?

1- What are the determinants associated with social workers?
2- What are the determinants associated with human-care institutions?
3- What are the determinants associated with community norms and traditions?
4- What are the proposals to activate the social determinants of care services for the elderly in social institutions?
5- How to reach a vision for the future of social determinants of the provision of services to the elderly in social institutions?

The concepts of the study are defined in the following

Sixth: Methodological measures.
1- Type of study: This study is descriptive studies
2- Method used: Comprehensive social survey methodology
3- Study tools: Questionnaire for social workers in social institutions that provide services for the elderly and a questionnaire for the elderly
4- Fields of study: The fields of study were identified as follows
A. The field: In the social institutions that provide services for the elderly in Assiut Governorate and there were 8 institutions
B. Human domain: A comprehensive inventory of social workers working in social institutions that provide services for the elderly as well as the elderly
C. Time domain: The period taken by the researcher in the collection of study data from 18/4/2018 to 15/5/2019
Seventh: Statistical treatments and methods
A number of statistical methods were used to analyze and interpret the results of the study, and some laws were applied manually and others using computers through SPSS, v20. The most important statistical treatments used in the study.
1- Frequency and percentage of the calculation of responses of social workers and the elderly sample of the study.
2- The arithmetic mean and the standard deviation of some of the personal and social variables of the sample of the social workers and the elderly.
3- Calculate the weighted average and the order of the order of the statements for each variable of the social workers and the elderly.
4- Relative degree to determine the value of the actual grades obtained by the terms and variables.
Eighth: Results of the study
General Conclusions Of Study Variables For Social Workers.
1. The Social determinats of the elderly care services associated with social workers came in second place with ahigh level where tge total was(735) with an average of (2,2) and for (74,24%).
2. The social determinats of the elderly care services associated with the institutions of elderly care came in the third rank B where the group weight (667)average(2,4) (67,4%).
3. The Social determinats of the elderly care services associated with social norms and traditions in the third order this variable level is high with atotal weight of (745)and on average of (2,26) and (75,25%).
4. The proposals to amend the social determinants of the elderly care services in the most influential social institutions ,which reflect the importance of this change when social workers by the institutions o raise awareness of the role of institutions that play elders ,and provide services to them to not feel so lonely and respectful.
General Conclusions of Study Variables for The Elderly.
1. The Social determinats of the elderly care services associated with social workers came in second place in the middle level and that total weight (1010),and the average of (1,6) by (66,01%).
2. The social determinats of the elderly care services associated with the institutions of the elderly care came in the third rank with an average level ,with atotal weigh of (884) ,(1,7) and (57,8).
3. The social determints of the elderly care services associated with customs and social traditions ,where came in the first order this variable with a high average and the total weigh of (1109), and(2,2) by (72,5%).
4. The proposals to activate the social determinats of the elderaly care in the most influential social institutions reflecting the importance of this change elderly came in the first order to facilitate the transfer procedures of service age ,and in the last arrangement coordination between the care of eldery and other community institutions to provide the services you need.
