Abstract Twelve metal complexes of amino acids (Glutamine, Lysine and mixed ligands (Lysine-Glutamine)) with Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) acetates have been synthesized. Compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR, 1H & 13CNMR, UV- spectra, (ESR), (µeff) and (TGA-DTA). Measured optical band gap was determined. Physical studies were applied such as solubility, density, molal volume, refractive index, excess refractive index and electronic spectra measurements. Metal oxide nanoparticles were synthesized and characterized by (XRD) and (TEM). Sizes of the nanoparticles were found. Adsorption of methylene blue on the surface of metal oxide nanoparticles was studied. Biological Activity was carried for complexes. |
