Abstract

Both PRF, CRF are safe and effective in treatment of TN pain. CRF produced more analgesia than PRF at the 6th month post intervention, inspite that CRF caused more side effects, all these side effects were minimal and tolerable. fMRI revealed significant activation in some brain regions before the intervention,revealed significant activation after the intervention. However we could not correlate these changes in activation with the decrease in patients vas after 1 month post intervention.
