This study aimed to identify the relationship between habits of mind,problem solving style, achievement motivation, and self-efficacy and the differences between males and females in habits of mind. The study also aimed to predict problem solving style, achievement motivation, self-efficacy through, habits of mind. Research included (200) students from Mansoura University, with Mean Age (26.18), SD (±2. 4). Tools were: habits of mind Scale (prepared by the researcher), problem solving style Scale (prepared by Cassidy & Long, 1996 translated by Fathy abdelhamed& Elsayd abo Hashem,2007), achievement motivation Scale (prepared by the researcher) , self-efficacy Scale (prepared by the researcher). Results showed that there is a positive significant relationship between habits of mind, and ( problem solving style, achievement motivation, and self-efficacy),. There is no significant difference between males and females in habits of mind. Multiple regression analysis showed that problem solving style, achievement motivation, and self-efficacy can be predicted through habits of mind. The researcher has left some recommendations and proposed researches.
