Abstract
The current thesis consists of three chapters, part of reference, English
summary and recommendations in addition to Arabic summary.
The first chapter presents some of the scientific aspects of the subject of
the study in addition to a survey of previous studies in international
periodicals in the current study area.
The second chapter is the experimental part of the thesis and presents the
following:
1) Five locations were selected for the current study and they are: site of
municipal drainage pipes, site of suction water for desalination plant, site of
Hariga oil terminal for export, site of San George’s resort and site of the
commercial port.
2) Sampling and analytical methods.
3) Measurement of Physical Properties.
4) Determination of chemical parameters.
5) Chemicals and instruments used during the study.
