Study Hypotheses : 1- There are statistical differences between secondary school male and female students in the concept of the self. 2- There are statistical differences between secondary school male and female students in psychological hardness. Method of the Study : The researcher depends on the comparative descriptive method. Tools of the Study : 1- Self-concept scale (prepared by the researcher). 2- Psychological hardness scale (prepared by the researcher) Sample of the Study : The sample includes 100 students, 50 males and 50 females, from The Western Mountain secondary schools in Libya. Statistical Methods : The researcher has used statistical methods, standard deviations and T-test. The Results of the Study : All the hypotheses have been come true.
