Abstract
Medicinal plants are used for thousands of years for healing human health disorders and considered as potential source of bioactive secondary metabolites that might serve as leads for developing novel drugs. This encouraged researchers to study the pharmacological effects of their different extracts and isolate the chemical constituents responsible for the biological activities.
