Abstract The construction sector represents a significant proportion of the Egyptian economy. This research focuses on the financial risk factors affecting the construction sector, especially after the political and economic changes in Egypt over the last 10 years. This thesis studied the importance of risk management, especially financial risks affecting the construction industry. It is applied risk management processes to the financial risks and identified in 3 categories and 72 factors of financial risk that are common between business management and construction management. The financial risk analysis model (FRAM) developed to enable the project stakeholders to analyze financial risks impact using a quantitative analysis technique. Moreover, the research identified the correlations between risk factors, prediction for the main materials such as steel and cement prices by the time serious analysis and future value until 2026, along with the top ten most common and weighted factors that affect the project stakeholders during the project planning or execution phases. |
