Abstract

Morbid obesity has become a real health problem worldwide with an increased incidence over the last few decades; the most important comorbidities related to this disease are caused by the metabolic changes which occur at various levels in these patients worldwide epidemic of obesity is main health issues in 21 century that affect numerous sides of health, as psychosocial and socio-economic aspects. Depending on modern report of WHO, in 2011 percentage of people with BMI >30 which is ten percentage of world population. Nearly two fold rise of amount of individuals with morbid obesity is noticed in last thirty years .People now respond to the obesogenic environment they find themselves in, given the current attitudes of reduced physical activity and easily available, highly advertised, relatively cheap high caloric foods .Bariatric operation is the 1st choice in individuals with a BMI > fifty kilo grams/m2 in whom operation is advised. Advantage of weight decrease accounts for decrease of related diseases, quality of life, and cause mortality. By weight reduction via bariatric operation there is decrease CVD complications, current evidence-based study is discussed regarding body fat distribution, dyslipidemia, HTN, DM, OSA, etc the rationale for bariatric surgery reducing CVD events is discussed and juxtaposed with impacts on all-cause mortalities. Obesity is responsible for of many CV risk factors, like T2DM, HTN and dyslipidemia, that occur in in metabolic syndrome.it could impact atherosclerotic process negatively, also endothelial function .
