Abstract Nanotechnology is a developed technology that deals with the constituent part in the nano scale range from 1 to100 nanometer.Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) in particular has attracted much attention because of its appropriate solvent systems and ecological reducing agents so, its synthesis was of wide prominence and were functional in many fields. The present work was designed for the biosynthesis of AgNPs by seven cyanobacterial species namely Nostoc linckia, Nostoc muscorum, Oscillatoria acuminata, Anabaena variables, Oscillatoria amphigranulata, Spirulina platensis and Phormidium purpurascens using their filtrate and biomass separately, and also their crude phycobiliproteins extract. from these cyanobacterial resources, two species were selected (Nostoc linckia and Spirulina platensis) which scored the highest quantities of crude phycobiliproteins extract to be used for the production of AgNPs. |
