A total number of students sample was 140 student ,(70) student for web based group studying with web based learning module and (70) student for traditional group studying with traditional learning using face to face lecture and demonstration. Four tools of the study were used to collect the data comprised of socio demographic & occupational characteristics of students, students’ knowledge about PPE, students’ practice of donning &doffing PPE and students’ attitude toward web-based learning. Results: The main findings of this study had been summarized as follows: - Concerning score level of knowledge about personal protective equipment of the traditional and web based groups pre& post learning intervention, it was observed that there was poor score level of knowledge for all (100%) students in the traditional group and (98.6%) of students in the web based group in relation to personal protective equipment pre learning intervention. However, all(100%) of students in the traditional and web based groups showed good score level of knowledge post learning intervention. There was statistical significant difference between traditional and web based groups regarding the previous item (p = 0.000). - Concerning the percentage of change regarding total knowledge pre and post learning intervention in traditional and web based groups, it was observed that the percentage of change pre and post the traditional group was(67.5%) and the percentage of change pre and post the web based group was(71.7%).While the percentage of change between the traditional and web based groups was (14.7%). - Concerning the percentage of change regarding practice categories pre and post learning intervention in traditional and web based groups, it was observed that the percentage of change between traditional group and web based group related to donning & doffing of (gloves score 5.9% , gown score 8.5%, mask score 8.6%, eyewear and face wear score 6.5%,respirator score 6.5%, footwear score 5.6%.While the percentage of change between traditional group and web based group related to sequence of donning& doffing PPE score was 3.7% and was 3.2%related to total practice score. - Concerning students attitude toward web based learning, it was observed that there was high satisfaction of the students and good quality of the web-based learning module with a mean score of (30.8 ± 3.87), Concerning usefulness of web based learning, it was observed that web-based learning method is useful and facilitate learning process with mean score of (21.67 ± 3.7). Regarding online strategy, it was observed that most students agreed that the web-based learning module was appropriate for effective learning with a mean score of (4.6 ± 0.91). In relation to design of web-based module, it was observed that most students indicated that the developed web based module was appropriately designed with mean score of (4.57± 0.7). Recommendations: The following recommendations have been suggested: - Integration of web-based education in different nursing specialties. - Higher education institutions should increase study of strategies for successful implementation of online learning to improve cost efficiencies and student learning. - Making use of e- learning benefits that can help in: - Getting over staff shortage. - Using a media which containing a wide variety of clinical skills beside the clinical book.
