Summary
The issue of food security is one of the most important issues of increasing concern at the global and regional levels because of its economic, political and social dimensions. As the world is witnessing changes that have affected the food supply and led to an increase in world prices of major food commodities and their rise to unprecedented levels. The international interest in the agricultural sector has increased and the call for adopting a new agenda for agriculture for development has emerged. In developing countries, Egypt attaches increasing importance to the issue of food security, providing food to the population and enabling them to obtain it. The State works to strengthen the productive capacities of the sectors of plant, livestock and fish production to contribute to the greatest possible food E population, next to the development of agricultural and food policies and encourage investment in food production projects and promoting the use of agricultural research and Ttabevadtha.
