Abstract This study carried out during 2017 and 2018 seasons on thirty uniform in vigour 10- years old Early Sweet grapevines. The selected vines are grown in a private vineyard located at El- Tode village- Luxor district, Luxor Governorate where the soil is sandy. This study was planned to examine the effect of single and combined applications of Algae extract and selenium on growth and fruiting of Early sweet grapevines growing under sandy soil. CONCLUSION Under the experimental and resembling conditions, it is suggested to use a mixture of Algae extract at 0.1 % and selenium at 250 ppm three times (growth start, just after berry setting and after one month) for controlling shot berries and improving yield and quality of Early Sweet grapevines grown under sandy soil. |
