First: The Problem of The Study
The problem of the study is that the descent of woman to work led to an increase in the burdens placed on them within the family, which leads to the occurrence of crises and multiple social and family stresses at work.
Since woman’s work is a reality and a challenge that must be dealt with, therefore, many professions and disciplines must be combined to deal with the pressures they face during work, and the social work profession is one of the humanitarian professions that are concerned with the field of woman and seek to strike a balance between woman and the environment in which they work through As the method of general practice as one of the methods of the social work profession practiced in many institutions, and interested in the field of woman, and if attention to woman in normal circumstances is a duty, it becomes an urgent requirement and necessary in the circumstances of working woman in order to help them To face the corresponding problems of life stress.
Second: Questions of The Study:
This study seeks to answer questions as following:
1- What are the life pressures facing local woman working at the level of coordination?
2 - What are the negative effects of life pressures facing local woman working at the system level?
3- What are the strategies of the professional work of the social worker to alleviate the life pressures facing the local working woman?
4 - What are the roles of the social worker as a general practitioner in alleviating the life pressures facing the local working woman?
5 - What are the most important mechanisms of action in alleviating the life pressures facing woman working in local?
6 - What are the most important professional work skills in alleviating the life pressures facing woman working in local?
Third: Objectives of The Study:
1- Determine the life pressures facing woman working in localities at the system level.
2 - Identify the negative effects associated with the life pressures facing woman working in localities.
3 - Identify the strategies of professional work of the social worker to alleviate the life pressures facing woman working in local.
4 - Identify the roles of social worker as a general practitioner in alleviating the life pressures facing woman working in local.
5 - Identify the most important mechanisms of action in alleviating the life pressures facing woman working in local.
6. Develop a proposed concept of general practice in social work to alleviate the life pressures facing woman working in localities.
Fourth: Importance of The Study:
The importance of the study is that the presence of woman in decision-making centers contributes to the public work, and the formulation of public policies of the state effectively and efficiently and the exploitation of its capacity, which represents half of society and achieve the integration of roles for men and woman and play their role in a way that reflects positively on society. Important that deserves to study and disclose and search for those pressures and their causes, types and sources and how to face and overcome, all in order to avoid their impact on woman’s health and preservation and development.
Fifth: Concepts of The Study:
The most important concepts used in the study:
(1) The concept of Woman
(1) The concept of working woman.
(2) The concept of life stress.
(3) The concept of general practice of social service.
(4) The concept of general practice of social service.
Sixth: Methodological Procedures of The Study:
(1) Type of study: According to its objectives, this study belongs to the pattern of analytical descriptive studies.
(2) Method: This study relied on the social survey methodology.
(3) Data Collection Tools:
In this study, the researcher relied on:
- A questionnaire form for the life pressures of the local working woman.
- A questionnaire for the roles of the social worker to alleviate the life pressures of woman working in local areas.
(4) Data Analysis Tools:
The Researcher used a set of statistical methods and treatments that are consistent with the nature of the current study, namely:
A- Alpha-Kronbach stability coefficients, and retest method for calculating the stability of the form.
B- Frequencies, percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation
C - the sum of weights, relative and weighted averages and relative degrees of dimensions.
Pearson correlation coefficient
E - Determine the degree of contribution of the independent variables studied in the interpretation of the dependent variable through the sample of the study, by the work of multiple regression analysis stepwise.
(5) Fields of The Study:
A- Human field (study sample): Comprehensive inventory of working woman within the city council of Dairout and local units affiliated to the number (107) working woman, and a comprehensive inventory of social workers working in the council and the city of Dairout and the number (30) social worker.
B- Spatial field: The study was applied in the Council and the city of Dairout of the General Court of Assiut Governorate, a government place where there are many departments serving citizens such as personnel affairs, accounts, and revenues, and the training center on computer science and information technology, archive..... etc.
Seventh: Results of The Study:
This study has reached several results, the most important of which are the following:
(1)Woman’s work is a social and economic necessity, which provides them and their families with a financial income and strengthens their personality, and develops a sense of commitment, reassurance and self-confidence. Woman carry multiple roles on their own reduces their cost-effectiveness. They cannot play all roles to the fullest.
(2) life stress is a phenomenon that is linked to rapid civilization progress and increasing crises experienced by individuals and lead to the production of problems that constitute a burden on human resilience and resilience, which leads to increased pressure on the self and the body, which reflects on the health and physical condition.
(3) The negative effects of life pressures are physical diseases, stress-related problems, psychological and behavioural problems and stress-related problems .Therefore, the need for professional intervention from social work was to alleviate the life pressures of working woman and face them through the use of the general practice of social service.
(4) The general practice in social work aims to provide learners and researchers in the social service with a set of skills, knowledge and values that aim to deal with contemporary social problems with a holistic perspective that includes all types of clients starting from the level of micro units, which includes the individual and the family and then the level of the middle units, which includes groups. Small to large units that include the organization and the community.
(5) The social worker can alleviate the life pressures of working woman by using his skills: (a) the skills of studying in the professional practice of customer formats and gathering facts and information; Business units (d) Communication skill (e) Individual and group interviewing skills.
(6) The roles of the social worker in: his role as possible to help working woman to get rid of negative emotions (fear - anxiety - frustration - tension - inability) that result from work stress, and support the positive emotions, and his role as a teacher based general practitioner in helping the family to Acquiring adaptive skills and coping with the pressures caused by the mother’s exit to work, and his role as a facilitator. The role of a therapist is to help the client’s organization make changes in themselves or in their relationships with groups or people who They have important initial relationships with them, and his role as a mentor means that the social worker directs the various efforts of the organs and individuals to achieve the objectives of professional intervention.
