Abstract

The thesis include four parts describe the synthesis and characterization of novel heterocycles. In part 1: novel pyrazoles derivatives were synthesized as pyrazole-1,2-diazepine, pyrazolopyrazole derivatives and other novel heterocycles as pyrazole derivatives. Most of the novel pyrazole derivatives were evaluated as antioxidant. In part 2: Novel 1,2,3-triazole and their fused pyrimidine derivatives in addition to some novel 12,4-triazole derivatives were synthesized and characterized by using different
Analytical and spectral data. The novel heterocycles in part 2 were estimated in vitro for their antibacterial activity.Part 3 of thesis involves synthesos of novel heterocles containing benzothiazole moiety starting from 2-cyanomethylbenzothiazole. In this part, novel pyrazole, pyranopyrazole, pyridopyridine, chromenopyridine and pyridobenzothiazole derivatives that comprise benzothiazole moiety were synthesized. All the novel structures were determined based on their analytical and spectral data. In part 4, 3-acetyl coumarin was used as precursor for synthesis of novel chromenopyridine, pyranochromene and novel 3-heterylcoumarin derivatives. All the structures of newly synthesized compounds were clearly identified by using different
analytical and spectral data.
