المستخلص

The purpose of the current research is to develop a Proposed vision to determine the educational requirements to use the cost approach in measuring the quality of general secondary education in Egypt. This objective is divided into several sub-goals, such as: Identifying the reality of the quality processes taking place in general secondary schools in Egypt, Determining the conceptual framework governing the costs approach in measuring the quality of general secondary education in Egypt, Identify the most important procedures used to measure the quality of general secondary education in Egypt, Identify the obstacles that prevent the use of cost approach in measuring the quality of general secondary education in Egypt. In order to achieve the research objectives, the researcher used the descriptive approach. The research reached many results, including: The school does not care about the cost of quality and its components are not identified, The school does not have any documents for the cost of quality, The school does not prepare courses and workshops to raise awareness of the importance of cost of quality, and There are a number of obstacles that prevent the use of cost approach in measuring the quality of general secondary education, the most important of them are: Lack of senior management’s conviction of the cost effectiveness of the system. The difficulty of calculating the elements of the cost of, poor use of the data of the quality cost, Difficulty of the data collection; the research ended with Proposed vision to determine the educational requirements to use the cost approach in measuring the quality of general secondary education in Egypt
