Abstract The current study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of The Interactive board based program in developing some EFL Receptive skills among sixth year primary stage pupils. The participants of the study included (80) pupils from Kafr Shukr language school, Qualubia governorate. They were divided into two groups: the experimental group (N=40) that was taught using the Interactive board in the second term of 2018, and the control group (N=40) that received regular instruction. The instruments of the study included:(a) an EFL receptive skills checklist to determine the most important listening and reading skills to be developed by sixth year primary stage pupils in language school ,(b ) a pre-post receptive skills test to measure listening and reading skills before and after implementing the program , (c) a rubric for correction,. The researcher taught the experimental group using the interactive board program during the first term of 2018 (14 sessions, two sessions per week). A t-test was used to statistically analyze the results of the test .Findings of the study revealed that the experimental group pupils’ EFL receptive skills were developed as a result of using interactive board program. It’s concluded that interactive board program is effective in developing the pupils’ receptive skills. |
