The study is focusing on the extent to which the promotion policies reflect the satisfaction of the employees of Marina Petroleum Company and the extent of their awareness of the promotion and job satisfaction policies of the employees in the company under study. (The permanent employees of the company and the employees attached to the work of our company from the Egyptian Petroleum Services Company). The researcher used his analysis of the data package statistical applications programs in the field of social sciences known as SPSS.
Objectives of the study:
The study aims to achieve the following objectives:
1. Determine the principles that should be included in the promotion policies, and determine the philosophy of application in the vicinity of the study
2- Evaluation of promotion policies through the employees of the company.
3- Determine the factors affecting the satisfaction of employees
4- Learn how to apply the promotion policies and the impact on the satisfaction of employees
5- Make some recommendations, which is expected to contribute to improve the satisfaction of employees
6- The study helps to identify the attitudes of the employees regarding promotion policies and their impact on employee satisfaction.
Study hypotheses:
The study has three main hypotheses:
1- There is statistically significant effect between promotion policies and job satisfaction.
2. There is a difference in employees’ perception of the impact of promotion policies on demographic changes.
3- There is a difference in employees’ perception of job satisfaction according to demographic changes.
Results:
1- The first main hypothesis, positive statistically significant effect between the promotion policies and job satisfaction, because there is a positive relationship of significance between the promotion and job satisfaction policies at a significant level (0.05).
2-The second main hypothesis is partially incorrect, there is a difference in the employees’ perception of the effect of the promotion policies according to the demographic variables.
3- The second main hypothesis is partially incorrect, there is no difference in the employees’ perception of job satisfaction according to the demographic changes.
