المستخلص

This study aims to evaluate the food and beverage employees performance in a sample of police clubs through:
1. Identifying the customers’ perceptions towards quality of food and beverage services provided.
2. Evaluating the performance of food and beverage employees performance in the investigated police clubs.
3. Establishing a conclusion and recommendations to provide better service quality to customers and ensure their satisfaction..
To achieve these objectives, eleven police clubs were selected randomly to adopted the field study by using the following methods.
1. Customers’ questionnaire form was developed and directed to a random sample of customers to investigate their perceptions towards quality of food and beverage services provided.. The total number of questionnaire forms distributed was (550) forms, only 455 forms were valid to analysis with a percentage 82.7%. The respondents were asked to answer the questions using a Five-point Likert scale (Strongly agree = 5, agree =4, neutral = 3, disagree = 2 and strongly disagree = 1) to determine the levels of agreement with the statements investigated.
2. An observation checklist was developed and adopted on the investigated police clubs to evaluate the performance of food and beverage employees according to their duties. The observation check list was composed of (20) attributes represent the duties of food service employees which were evaluated by using a Five point Likert scale (usually - often - sometimes - rarely - never).
Based upon both the literature reviewed and the field study findings, the following recommendations could be suggested:
• Increasing the workers’ motivation by supporting them with more material and incorporeal incentives, and providing them with all possibilities that will help them accomplish their duties effectively.
Enhancing the communication between superiors and subordinates; because of its active role in improving the level of performance through providing the workers with adequate information on the policies and objectives of the institution, as well as overcoming all obstacles that hinder the communication process.
