Abstract

The study was carried out at Genetics and Genetic engineering department faculty of agriculture, Benha university in collaboration withCrop Intensification Research Department, Agricultural Research Center (2015-2016). The aim of this work was to evaluate the genetic diversity and phylogenetic relationship among five Quinoa genotypes using molecular markers and ISSR-PCR technique to identify polymorphism, and also studying the genetic characteristics of each genotype on Biochemical and molecular levels which are associated with the characteristic of the quality. To achieve this aim, we used five Quinoa genotypes from two origins (Giza 1 from Denmark) and (Q18 & Q21 & Q22 & Q29 from chile) and cultured in a randomized complete block design with four replicates in two locations Moshtohor in Qalyubiya governorate, and Nabtit in Sharqia governorate. We used the MStat version Software to analyzed the data of the most important characters effect on Quinoa yield (Plant height (cm) - Number of branches / plant - Weight of the main head / plant (g) - 1000-seeds weight / (g) - seed yield / plant weight (g) - Seed yield (ton / ha). Results The mean of plant height of all genotypes used was ranged from 112cm in Q29 to 120cm in Q18.
