Abstract The present investigation was carried out during two successive growing seasons of 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 at a private farm in El- Mahalla El-Kubra district, El-Gharbia Governorate, Egypt, to investigate the effect of foliar application of natural bio-stimulants i.e. seaweed and yeast extracts as well as amecton as a source of NAA on growth, nutritional status, yield, bulb quality and storability of onion plants cv. Giza Red. The experimental trails were conducted in a clay soil and the plants were irrigated with Nile water by surface irrigation system. |
