Abstract
A nutritional assessment can detect any abnormal
finding early. So that lifestyle changes can take place before
the problem elevates into something more serious with
adverse consequences. Hence a study sample of 50
HIV/AIDS refugee patients from different nationalities
(Sudan, Eretria, Ethiopia, Syria, Iraqi, Somali and
Zimbabwe) were divided into 2 groups, CD4 < 200cells/μL
group and CD4 > 200 cells/μL group to assesses the nutrients
intake from food consumption.
Data collected by the 24-hr recall method. Estimate the
adequacy of diet as compared to the recommended daily
intake (DRI).
