Abstract Laser surgery can be performed safely by using parameters which protect underlying structures. The factors that determine the initial tissue effect include the laser wavelength, laser power and the available laser waveform (continuous wave, pulsed, and super pulsed). The present study was conducted to investigate the collateral oral soft tissue damage of diode laser incision in the buccal mucosa of rabbits through histological and histochemical examination. The study was performed to reach the most suitable parameters of operation for clinical application. |
