Abstract

The aim of this study was to compare and evaluate the clinical and
radiographic success of indirect pulp capping of vital young permanent teeth with
deep caries using two-step antibacterial bonding system versus conventional one.
This study was done to investigate the following PICO question:
 P  Children with vital young permanent molars with deep caries.
 I  Indirect pulp treatment using antibacterial bonding.
 C  Indirect pulp treatment using conventional bonding.
 O 
- Primary outcome: Absence of post treatment spontaneous and provoked
pain.
- Secondary outcomes: Absence of pain on percussion, swelling, sinus or
fistula, adverse radiographic finding, evaluation of secondary dentin
thickness.
