Abstract
This study aimed to evaluate the reproductive seasonality in Barki ewes and Anglo-Nubian does to distinguish the most time of the year in which the reproductive performance was deteriorated. Also, this study purposed to investigate the efficiency of CIDR-eCG protocol in conjunction with or without melatonin implants in induction of synchronized fertile estrus and reproductive performance in seasonally anestrus dry and lactating Barki ewes and Anglo-Nubian does. Reproductive performance including both percentages of relative estrus occurrence and relative fertile mating recorded the lowest values were observed throughout December to April in Barki.
