Abstract
In this study, PRK and LASIK were proved to be a safe, efficient, and a highly predictable.
The objective of wavefront optimized technology is to preserve the natural asphericity of the cornea.
There are significant improvements of postoperative
UDVA in both groups when compared to preoperative
levels.
At the first post-operative day& week, the mean UDVA in
group B was statistically significant better than group A.
Evaluation of MRSE values at 1 month after the procedure
showed significant improvements in both groups when
compared to the preoperative level.
Postoperative Contrast sensitivity data of B group (LASIK)
only showed significant change from Preoperative level.
After one month, there is no statistically significant
difference between both groups
