Abstract

In this study, PRK and LASIK were proved to be a safe, efficient, and a highly predictable.
 The objective of wavefront optimized technology is to preserve the natural asphericity of the cornea.
 There are significant improvements of postoperative
UDVA in both groups when compared to preoperative
levels.
 At the first post-operative day& week, the mean UDVA in
group B was statistically significant better than group A.
 Evaluation of MRSE values at 1 month after the procedure
showed significant improvements in both groups when
compared to the preoperative level.
 Postoperative Contrast sensitivity data of B group (LASIK)
only showed significant change from Preoperative level.
 After one month, there is no statistically significant
difference between both groups
