Abstract Recording the highest mean infection percentage (100.00%) in winter with average temperature 13.4 ºC and 75% relative humidity. While the lowest mean percentage of nosema in summer season, with an average temperature ranged from 28.0 to 30.1 ºC and relative humidity from 52 to 63%. 2) Using colonies maintained in stable high population showed the lowest infection percentage. While the lowest infection percentage was recorded with colonies having recent mated queens. 3) Could be arranged the mean efficiency which expressed as colonies with lower infection percentage of the tested beekeeping operations descending in the following using colonies maintained in stable high population > reclaimed area > tap water > renewing combs > colonies having recent mated queens. 4) Controlling nosema disease by Flagyl 1% followed by Flagyl 0.5%, then acetic acid 0.7% and later acetic acid 0.2%. 5) First record of Nosema ceranae in Minia region. While Nosema apis was identified in the previous period. 6) Could be arranged infection of honeybee stages by nosema disease descending in the following workers > eggs > pupae > larvae. 7) Determination of honey production of the experimental bee colonies of each nectar flow period (medicinal plants in April and Egyptian clover in July),. Mean of honey production of the two types of honey was estimated as followed: a) The tested beekeeping operations could be arranged of honey production in the following ascending order; colonies headed recent mated queens < control (infected) < reclaimed area < renewing combs < tap water < control (non infected) < Colonies maintained in stable high population. The tested chemicals could be arranged of honey production in the following ascending order; control (infected) < acetic acid 0.7% < acetic acid 0.2% < control (non infected) < flagyl 1% < flagyl 0.5%. |
