Abstract Mycoplasma gallisepticum infection is one of the most serious problems that affect poultry industry which is responsible for variety of diseased condition that cause high mortalities, decrease food conversion rate, and condemnation of whole affected carcass or organs after slaughter. The main results of this study are : 1) Bacteriological identification and biochemical tests characterize 6 isolates of MGorganism 2) Molecular identification of mgc2 gene revealed the presence of Mycoplasma gallisepticum among 15out of 32 samples with (46.88%) including 6 isolated MG by using culturetechnique 3) Sequence analysis of partial 16S rRNA gene of Mycoplasma gallisepticum in 5 examined strains which contained on mgc2 gene. 5 examined strains gave a characteristic common band at 185 bpfragment. 4) Concerning the Squencincing and phylogenetic analysis of our 5 examined strains with reference and vaccinal strains in Gen Bank (NCBI), the highest similarity was with Mycoplasma gallisepticum isolatePB1/06/Ind/2006 with accession number (DQ677303.1) ranging from 94.7-96.7% then with (NR_113684.1 and NR_104952.1) (Mycoplasma gallisepticum strain NBRC14855/USA/2015, Mycoplasma gallisepticum strain ATCC19610/USA/2015 respectively ranging from 85.5-87% and 83.9-85.8% respectively and with (Mycoplasma gallisepticum NC08-2008.031 (74.5-77%),(Mycoplasma gallisepticum NC96_1596-4-2P (74.5-77%), (Mycoplasma gallisepticum NY01_2001.471 (74.1-76.8%), (Mycoplasma gallisepticum W101_2001.043(74.5-77.2%) and (Mycoplasma gallisepticum CA06_2006.052 (74.5-77.2%) as shown in table(4). 5- The effect of Mentofin on respiratory system of treated group following a challenge with Mycoplasma gallisepticum was studied and recorded through gross and histopathological evaluation. Mentofin was able to help preventing respiratory problems, and should be used a prophylaxis treatment against mycoplasma gallisepticum infection and also used as supportive treatment with antibiotic in cases mycoplasma gallisepticuminfection. |
