Abstract Pomegranate is one of the most important fruit crops in the world including Egypt. It is widely cultivated for its health benefits .Several fungal pathogens attack pomegranate fruits causing serious diseases. Control of fungal pathogens of pomegranate specially Botrytis cinerea has been accomplished primarily by the application of chemical fungicides such as Flusilazole. Due to concerns of health and environmental hazards, the main goal of this study was to minimize the use of synthetic fungicides entirely or partially by using plant extracts such as bark of cinnamon. |
