Abstract The Staphylococcus are Gram-positive cocci with their primary habitat in the skin, glands and mucous membranes (Infected sores and scratches are often harborage sites for S. aureus). S. aureus has been reported as the third major causative agent of foodborn illness by fish and fish products, also caused problems at fish and economic loss. 1-The samples were obtained from Cat fish (Clarias Garipeneaus), to be bacteriologically examined for isolation and identification of S. aureus. 2-The infective dose of S. aureus isolates investigated by detect mortality rate of Cat fish (I/P), fish showedirregular hemorrhages on body surfacebecome deep ulcer. 3- By using (PCR) for investigation antibiotic resistant genes, detectederm A gen at 139 bp , aac (6)-aph (2) genes at 174bp van A gen at 1030 bp. and mec A gene at 533bp. 4-All isolated S. aureus were sensitive to Amikacin, Amoxicillin, Ampicillin and Ciprofloxacin while resistant to Gentamicin, Methicillin and Neomycine. |
