Abstract This study was conducted at the El-Maghara Research Station- Desert Research Center, 90 Km south El-Arish city in the middle of Sinai North Sinai,Governorate,Egypt, during the two successive seasons of 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 to investigate the effect of fertilization and plant density on Dutch fennel. This study included two experiments as follows: The first Experiment Effect of fertilization and spraying algae extract on Dutch fennel. Fennel seeds were had brought from Sekem Company. Seeds were sown directly in reclaimed sandy soil at 18th of October in the first season and 21th of October in the second season. Chemical fertilizer sources Ammonium sulphate 20.5 % N, calcium superphosphate 15 % P2O5 and potassium sulphate 48 % K2O were used as a source of N, P and K receptively. |
