المستخلص
This thesis concerns the study of the problem of delaying constructing
and finishing projects in the fixed time which increases the actual cost
comparing with the pre-estimated cost.
This research aims at determining a frame for time control through the
criteria and constrains which control decreasing time during construction
stages. This will lead to improve the performance rate of project cost and
time.
The methodology research depends on two fundamentals:
a) Theoretical study.
b) Practical and analytic study.
A) Theoretical study is presented in chapter one, two and three:
Chapter one concerns the approach of projects management and its all
area of knowledge, and the construction projects stages, also an approach
of project time control and its role during the project life periods.
Chapter two concerns the Laws and Regulations that control the contracts
and obligations for construction Projects in Egypt and their effect on time
management.\
Chapter three concerns the study of international methods and programs
. for time control, also the criteria and constrains which affect time of
constructing the project in addition to determine the factors which
evaluate the effects of criteria and constrains.
B) Practical and analytic study and research results:
This study is explained in chapter four. It concerns assuring the factors
which evaluate the effects of constrains and criteria determined in the
first three chapters according to the actual pilot study projects.
Thus we can determine all criteria and constrains which affect time of
projects, and factor which evaluate their effects .
According to these criteria and constrains we can study and analyze the
results ofprojects and evaluate the performance rate of projects time.
