The research aimed at reaching the impact of designing an e-learning environment based on edutainment on developing EFL listening skills for blind pupils.The following sub-questions were derived from that main question:1.What are the EFL listening skills required for blind pupils in basic education?2.What are the criteria for designing an electronic environment based on edutainment to develop EFL listening skills for blind pupils?3.What is the educational design of an e-learning environment based on edutainment to develop EFL listening skills for blind pupils?4.What is the impact of an edutainment- based e-learning environment on the development of EFL listening skills for blind pupils in basic education?The current used:1. The analytical descriptive approach: to describe and analyse the literature related to the research problem and tools.2.The experimental approach: to study the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable.The following tool was used An English electronic listening test to assess the EFL listening skills for the target participants.Design: The present research used the experimental design known as ”pre-post design using a single group”.Research participants consisted of (7) blind pupils in the 4th grade primary at Al-Nour School for the Blind in Mansoura. They were selected to form one experimental group. The EFL listening test was applied before and after experimental treatment.The study led to the following findings:1.A list of the EFL listening skills required for the primary blind pupils.2. A proposed edutainment-based electronic environment for developing the EFL listening skills required for the primary blind pupils.3.The experimental group pupils’ mean ranks in the post administration of the electronic listening test were much better than their mean ranks in the pre-administration of the test.
