Abstract

The complete design and analysis of the Cloud Computing(ClComp)for the Ministry of Electricity and Energy of Egypt(MEEE)is proposed.So,the aim of this thesis is to design, manage and implement the ClComp of MEEE to meet the needs of the organization and its facilities.Moreover, it can enable theAuthorized Groups(AuthGs)to access from anywhere and anytime via the designed software packages with high resolution and efficiency. This thesis poses a full complete step-by-step study for MEEE ClComp system and its applications.The procedure is demonstrated by design many software packages to make a global security for the MEEE through two types of securities. These two types are the external and internal security.The external security for MEEE power plants and transmission lines achieved using software packages designed especially to save MEEE from outside depending on tracking and Arabic car plate text extraction. While the internal security software packages are designed to save MEEE power plants and distribution substations from inside depending on ear and face biometric recognition. The development of a checkpoint system using contactless fingerprint software packages is designed to make the fingerprint recognition as fast as possible at the MEEE gates. Close agreement between the simulated and measured results is obtained. According to the software package design,services provided and number of AuthGs, the specification architectures of the server standard is chosen with high service availability.Keywords: Cloud Computing,MEEE,face recognition, ear recognition,contactless fingerprint,tracking, text extraction.
