Abstract

In-vitro study was carried out to measure the amount of dimensional changes of flexible injection molded (valplast) nylon maxillary complete denture and a rapid heat-polymerized polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) maxillary complete denture after curing before finishing, and after finishing and polishing by using three methods of measurements:
A) Digital caliper.
B) Computerized measuring using image analysis method.
C) Full-Field 3D Comparisons of Obtained Dentures.
The validity and accuracy of the conventional and computerized measuring methods of dimensional stability of complete maxillary denture were evaluated.
