Abstract This study was done to detect FA and OCT changes in patients with poor vision. This study showed that LogMAR BCVA are significantly correlated with patient age and duration of DM. This study showed that there is a significantly higher positive correlation between the pattern of leakage in FA and the central macular thickness. All OCT morphological changes are significant correlated with LogMAR BCVA. Cystoid abnormalities are best detected by OCT. Eyes with focal leakage in FA more likely to have sponge edema on OCT and had the least degree of central macular thickness and the best corrected visual acuity. This study showed that cystoid pattern in OCT and neurosensory detachment is associated with worsening in the leakage pattern in FA. |
