Abstract
he aortic valve is 3 dimensional structure, in the surgery we should be deal with the whole aortic valve rings, the virtual, the LVOT and
the STJ.
The LVOT has a different dynamic than the supravalvular apparatus, a dynamic change occurring in the aortic valve structure during the cardiac cycle.
The echocadigraphy is the basic diagnostic tool in diagnosis of aortic valve disease.
However, the intra operative TEE gives additional information about the valve.
The techniques are differing according to the type of the valve pathology.
Commissurotomy, SCA, triangular resection, plication, shaving, augmentation by pericardium and usage of aortic valve rings are currently the usable techniques.
Careful selection of the patients specially with rheumatic pathology and non delay of the patient with VSD association.
