Abstract Lake Burullus is located along the Mediterranean coast in the northern part of the Nile Delta. The Lake is a Ramsar site and has been declared as a natural protectorate. In the last few years, the lake has subjected to many of environmental changes due to the huge amount of discharges originated from different sources as well as many human activities. These conditions lead to drastic changes in water quality and fish community (quantitative and qualitative). |
