Abstract
The thesis is divided into 5 parts:- Part I: (The introductory part) contains different classes of anticancer agents according to their mechanisms of action in addition to the different anticancer thiophene derivatives. Part II: includes the research objectives and the major aims that direct the theoretical and practical work. Part III: contains : The theoretical discussion of the experimental work. It discusses the different conditions for the preparation of the desired compounds. In vitro assay for anticancer evaluation. Part VI: represents the experimental part that discusses different methods that were used in this thesis for preparation of either the intermediated and final products. Moreover, the microanalytical and spectral data that confirm the structures of the newly synthesized compounds were summarized in this part. Part V : includes the list of 212 references and periodical literatures used in this thesis, covering the period of 1966-2015.
