Abstract
Osteoporosis is one of the most common musculoskeletal disorders among elderly people. Therefore this study aim was to evaluate the effect of health education program on quality of life among elderly people with osteoporosis. Design: A quasi-experimental design was used to evaluate the effect of the program. Setting: The study was conducted in bone density measurement unit at Suez Canal University hospital.Result: post program all of the studied elderly had high level of knowledge.and the difference between pre-post program level of knowledge scores were highly statistical significant. the study conclued that significant incrase in elderly knowledge and practice about osteoporosis,and improvement in their quality of life post implementation of the program.
