Abstract
The overall objective of the study to clarify the contribution of forest resources to rural development in Zalingei locality-central Darfur state, Sudan in Triaj administration unit (Triaj, Dar Elsalam, Gouz Khazzal and Nour Elhuda village). Were targeted for a specific study sample to achieve the following objectives are:
1.3.1 To identify quantities of fuelwood (firewood and charcoal) consumption by rural households, type of cooking stoves, housing, fences, and major causes of deforestation and desertification comforting the forest resources and trees.
